Meet your mentor — Arjun
I’m Arjun Kashetty—an immigrant who started with a suitcase and a lot of hope.Today, I run Supply Chain Launchpad, where I simply help students and newcomers get the jobs I once chased. Here’s my journey:
2014
Started from Zero
I landed in Canada with nothing more than a suitcase full of dreams and the determination to make my family proud. Every street in downtown Toronto felt like a new classroom. The culture, the people, even the subway rides—everything was a lesson. I didn’t have a roadmap, but I had an attitude of openness. Each day was about observing, absorbing, and preparing myself for a future I couldn’t yet see. Looking back, that naïve curiosity became my foundation. If I could start from zero, so can you.

2015
Hard Work & Humility
From being pampered back home to scrubbing dishes and cleaning washrooms in Pizza Pizza Canada, life humbled me fast. My first part-time job wasn’t glamorous, but it destroyed my ego and built my character. I realized no one in this country owes you anything. You earn respect only when you earn your keep. For the first time, I understood the true value of a dollar and the grind behind it. That year taught me resilience, and it planted the seed: growth starts where comfort ends. If I could push through, you can too.

2016-21
Breaking into Supply Chain
I began my journey at Acklands Grainger, earning $20 an hour and learning what it means to start small but think big. At Walmart, I found my rhythm learning to lead with confidence and see possibility in every challenge. At Sobeys, I helped build something from the ground up during the pandemic, proving that vision matters more than certainty. And at Home Depot, I learned the true scale of impact and the power of collaboration. From humble beginnings to managing billion-dollar operations, my story is simple: growth starts the moment you decide you’re ready.

2022
How I Became A Coach?
Something unexpected happened: I discovered public speaking. Joining Toastmasters, I became Vice President and grew the club from 10 to 40 members in just a year. More than titles, I built confidence, mentorship skills, and the ability to inspire others. It was the spark that would later make me a professor and career coach. Speaking taught me one truth: leadership isn’t about being the loudest—it’s about helping others find their voice. If someone as shy as me could lead, so can you.

2021-23
How I became A Professor?
My journey came full circle when I was invited as a guest lecturer at multiple colleges. Soon, I was teaching ten courses across two institutions. Standing in front of students at top colleges in Canada, I realized I wasn’t just sharing knowledge—I was shaping futures. Teaching unlocked a new dimension of purpose in me. It made me see that the supply chain isn’t just an industry; it’s a community. And I had a role to play in growing it. If I could go from learner to teacher, you can too.

2024
Launching Supply Chain Launchpad
After 10 years in corporate and 5 years teaching, I saw the same gap everywhere: graduates had degrees, but not the skills companies actually wanted. That’s when I launched Supply Chain Launchpad—a program to bridge that gap. Within a few years, over 250 students landed high-paying jobs in North America. got recognized on a billboard at New York Times Square.

2025
From Dreamer to TEDx
What started with a suitcase of dreams brought me to a TEDx stage in Canada. I spoke about solving the supply chain talent gap and urged communities to buy local to strengthen resilience. That talk put me on a Times Square billboard—proof that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things. It wasn’t luck; it was persistence, learning, and never giving up. My story is living proof: if I could go from pizza shops to Times Square, you can too.
